GoldenRoo Know Your Customer Policy
Last updated: 30.09.2026
To help prevent money laundering and financial crime, GoldenRoo Casino complies with the principles of “Know Your Customer”. These principles require customer identification and due diligence.
We retain the right to seek KYC documentation whenever we consider it necessary to confirm the identity and whereabouts of someone using goldenroo-casino.net. Until sufficient identification has been obtained, we can limit the Service, payments, or withdrawals. Such restrictions may also be imposed for other reasons at our sole discretion, subject to the legal framework.
Risk assessment determines how we conduct our checks. All clients, customers, and transactions undergo rigorous due diligence and ongoing monitoring. Money laundering regulations provide for three stages of due diligence, selected according to the customer category, transaction, and level of risk.
| Due diligence stage | Circumstances in which it applies |
|---|---|
| Simplified Due Diligence (SDD) | Transactions with an extremely low level of risk that do not reach the required thresholds. |
| Customer Due Diligence (CDD) | The usual identification and verification checks applied in most situations. |
| Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) | Customers assessed as high risk, transactions involving large amounts, and special cases. |
Mandatory Full Verification
The full KYC process is a separate requirement in addition to the measures above. It becomes compulsory when a user’s total deposits over their lifetime exceed EUR 5,000, when they submit a withdrawal request for any sum through goldenroo.net, or when they carry out or attempt a transaction regarded as suspicious.
The user must provide basic information about themselves before submitting the following supporting material:
- A government-issued photo ID copy, including the front and back where the type of identification requires both sides.
- A photograph of themselves holding that ID.
- Either a utility bill or a bank statement.
